Reddit shadowban:how to check your account.

Open your profile in a private window, logged out. If Reddit says the page cannot be found, the account is likely shadowbanned; if the profile loads, open a recent post logged out to see whether it shows in its subreddit.

No. A removed post was taken down in one subreddit, by its moderators or its filters, and the rest of the account is unaffected. A shadowban hides the whole account across Reddit.

Reddit does not publish every reason, but spam signals are the common thread: the same text or link posted again and again, vote manipulation, and activity that looks automated. Breaking Reddit’s content policy can lead to it too.

Reddit takes appeals through its appeals form at reddit.com/appeals, where you explain why the action was a mistake. Keep it short and factual, and do not open a new account to get around it, since Reddit treats that as ban evasion.

On Karma you write and publish every post yourself, inside each subreddit’s rules, and Karma never asks for your Reddit password. You can turn down any brief that does not fit, at no cost.
